Dallas Lawyer Being the best father to my sons is not merely a goal of mine, but my life mission, along with being the best husband to my wife. Conscious Parenting has given me the tools to succeed in that mission. Before I took the class, I was not conscious of what I was doing as a parent, right or wrong, and what I could or should be doing for my kids. Since taking the class, I have witnessed a profound transformation in my mindset and behavior. I have gained or regained, a perspective on the importance of quality time with the kids and the need to smile, laugh, play, love and enjoy life with your kids, all while building a relationship to last a lifetime. I now feel an amazing connection to my kids and I feel that connection to me. I am so much more accepting of the limits on what I know and I am more aware of the little that I do know. I have learned to keep long-term goals and opportunities for their growth in mind rather than focus on short-term solutions. I have learned to better promote self-esteem and confidence in my kids and help them work through their sibling challenges. I have learned that my reward lies in my sons’ light continuing to shine brightly as they explore and experience their ever-changing worlds and the wonders that await them. I have learned that I can help my sons mature into happy, warm, self-assured, independent, and loving people by being conscious in my parenting. I am conscious now and will be so forever.
I am the
poster child for Conscious Parenting. How many of us want the best for our children? We do so many things for them, all so they can be as successful in life as possible. I woke up in the middle of the night getting “it”. “It” meaning, the essence of what “Conscious Parenting”(CP) has to offer our future generations. Earlier that day, I watched my daughter interact with one of her friends with my new “Conscious Parenting” eyes. I saw how her actions and her friends actions were a result of how we as their parents, parent. One set of us play the permissive parents role really well, and the other, the autocratic style, both loving our children deeply. I also, fast forwarded these children’s actions into the future and saw them in their future job and relationships. Horrified! I think of myself as one of the most conscious parents ever, even before I took these workshops. Now I know how I and we, staple costumes around our children, or set up their “roles” in life determining how they interact with the world, or their success in life. What if every child came with a manual attached? With the guidance of this “Conscious Parenting” course, the opportunity to understand at a profound level how good intentions of being the best parent ever is sabotaged by our unconscious programming that we all experienced as we grew up. Until we make a specific type of conscious commitment to conscious parent, our unconscious programming runs our family life. As a partner in pioneering this new paradigm, we together can create the best life possible for our families. These are exciting times we are in. Our children have come into this world bringing humanity gifts, if we only allow them to keep brightness, their God given birthright. Glenn Doman, pioneer of children’s brain development said, “The magic is in the child” and “Every child born has, at the moment of birth, a greater potential intelligence than Leonardo da Vinci ever used.” Our intent is to lovingly nurture and guide Jasmine, keeping her light shining bright. That commitment to being the best parent possible, along with the intent to allow our daughter to express her God given gifts in all their glory, has brought us to this point in our life. For those whom this resonates with: parents, teachers, aunts, uncles, grandparents, god parents, sports coaches; we are the ones paving the way for our children to light the way for our world in waking up to the possibilities of existence. We are the guardians of the future, on the frontline of humanity. It is imperative that we commit to creating conscious families. Gratefully yours, Some people ask me what credentials I have to facilitate Conscious Parenting Workshops. I immediately reply, because I am the Queen of Personal Development. 12 years ago my personal quest after reading Deepok Chopra’s 7 Spiritual Laws of Success, that everyone has a unique talent to share in service of this world and no one else on the planet can express this talent like you can. The fact that we all have a unique fingerprint that no one else shares, confirmed my “YES”, there is a purpose in me being here! I am a unique individual! At that moment, I made it my life mission to discover my gift. Seek and you shall find, knock and the door shall be opened. The journey of my quest began. I decided to enter the classroom of “About Me” (which is what a conscious parent asks if something is not working in their family life) and treat this study like I was in college. Lock myself in my room and read. Spend money and time invested in workshops, speakers, etc. At Neill Corp., their motto was, “Develop the people, and they’ll develop your business” my opportunity to synergize life and work came into realization. At one point in my life I asked myself, “Why would I want to bring a child into a world like this?”. Then when I was doing some deep heart work, I asked myself, “What is most important to me?”.
